Most clients book 4–8 weeks in advance. Busy seasons (spring and fall) fill fast, so the sooner you reach out, the better!
How far in advance should I book?
Yes! After the initial payment, your remaining balance can be split into payments as long as it’s fully paid before your session date.
Do you offer payment plans?
Your gallery is delivered within 2 weeks for most sessions.
How long until I get my photos?
Yes! Bring anything meaningful to you—just let me know ahead of time so we can plan how to incorporate it naturally.
Can I bring props or personal items?
You’ll be able to print your downloaded images anywhere you like. If you choose to order on your own, I recommend mpix.com for great color and quality. For the very best results, you can also order directly through your gallery store or reach out if you'd like help designing albums or wall art.
Can I print my photos anywhere?
We’ll choose a location that fits your vision—whether that’s a favorite spot, your home, or one of my go-to Iowa locations. I’ll guide you based on the vibe you want.
Where will my session take place?
Lots of movement, prompts, and natural posing. I’ll guide you through everything so it feels easy, fun, and not awkward.
What should I expect during the session?
I do light retouching (blemishes, distractions, etc.) but keep everything natural. If you want additional retouching, just ask and we can chat!
Do you retouch skin or body features?
If it’s raining, storming, or just not ideal, we’ll reschedule for the next available date. Soft clouds are totally fine—but I’ll always make the final call to ensure you get the best results.
What if the weather is bad? (For outdoor sessions)
Absolutely. You’ll get my full session guide plus a detailed questionnaire, and you’re welcome to send me outfit ideas anytime. I’m here to make planning easy.
Do you help with outfits or styling?
You’ll receive an online gallery with all your best images lightly edited for proofing. Add your favorites to the ‘Favorites’ folder and let me know when you’re done. I’ll fully retouch the ones you’ve selected, and then you can download them. If you want more than what’s included in your package, additional images can be purchased à la carte.
How does the proofing gallery work?
If you decide you want the entire gallery, you can upgrade to download all of the edited images for an additional fee (the upgrade price varies by session type). You can also purchase individual images or small bundles if you only want a few extras.
Can I download all the photos?
Each session includes a set number of downloads depending on the package. You’ll receive a full proofing gallery, choose your favorites, and have the option to purchase additional images or upgrades.
