Washington, Iowa Senior Photos | Carys M

I had the chance to photograph the lovely Carys, a senior this year at Washington High School, and this session was just what I needed to refresh my creative juices!

We started our shoot at The Photo Station in Washington, Iowa with a soft, floral setup that gave us the perfect girly and timeless vibe.

C brought the sweetest energy and totally lit up the studio. She wore the cutest floral dress that worked beautifully with her bouquet of fresh flowers—we played around with some fun, modern poses and got so many shots that I’m obsessed with!
Then we threw in a chair and a cute green sweater for the most timeless shots.

After the studio, we headed to one of my favorite parks in Washington for some outdoor portraits. Even though it was winter in Iowa, the golden brown field grass and evergreen trees gave us the dreamiest backdrop. The lighting was soft and glowy, and C’s personality shined through every single photo—she made the whole session so fun and relaxed.

C is seriously involved in so many things and is one of those people who just radiates joy. I can’t wait to see where life takes her after high school!
