The Martin Family | Indianola, Iowa Family Photoshoot

I had the best time photographing the Martin Family in Indianola, Iowa! Alysha and Shawn are high school sweethearts and truly some of the kindest people — the kind who make you feel instantly welcome and bring such great energy to their session. Their three girls are each so full of personality — beautiful, sassy, and completely unique in their own ways. Watching them interact and tease each other made for the most natural, joy-filled photos.

We started our session surrounded by gorgeous greenery and ended the evening downtown near some colorful murals that perfectly matched their energy and style. The girls absolutely rocked every pose and gave me so many genuine smiles and laughs throughout the afternoon!

I actually got to spend the entire afternoon with Alysha — we also captured a branding session for her organizing business, Uncluttered Life LLC (you can read more about that session here). It was such a fun and creative day spent celebrating both her family and her passion for helping others find simplicity and balance in their homes.

This family radiates so much love, confidence, and connection, and it was such an honor to document a little piece of their story. I can’t wait for them to have these memories to look back on for years to come!
