Photography, like everything else, has trends. Editing styles change, poses come and go, and social media is always introducing the next big thing.
But there are a few things I hope never go out of style.
I hope couples continue choosing a day that feels true to them. Whether that’s an intimate elopement on a mountaintop, a backyard ceremony, or a celebration surrounded by family and friends, I hope they never lose sight of what matters most: each other. A wedding isn’t about putting on a perfect production—it’s about beginning a marriage with joy, intention, and love.

I hope seniors never feel like they have to fit into a trend or be someone they’re not. Your senior session should celebrate who you are right now—your personality, your passions, and this exciting season of life. The best photos aren’t the ones where you’re perfectly posed; they’re the ones where you’re genuinely you.

I hope families never stop embracing the beautifully imperfect moments. The giggles, the cuddles, the wild toddlers who refuse to sit still, and the genuine laughter in between. Years from now, those are the moments that will mean the most.

I hope we never forget that people connect with people. A great headshot isn’t about looking flawless—it’s about looking approachable, confident, and authentic. The best branding photos tell your story and help people feel like they already know you before they ever reach out.

At the end of the day, I hope genuine connection always wins over perfection.
Because trends will come and go, but authenticity never goes out of style. And the photographs that stand the test of time are almost always the ones that simply capture people as they truly are.
