Your Senior Pictures Should Look Like YOU
Senior pictures don’t have to look like everyone else’s.
They don’t have to follow the latest trend, happen in the same handful of locations, or be filled with perfectly posed smiles. They should feel like you.
That’s one of my favorite things about senior photography. Every senior brings something completely different to their session, and I want to find ways to make those things part of the story.
For this recent session, baseball was an obvious piece of the puzzle. We incorporated his glove and a little movement into the session—but we also made room for the quieter, more traditional portraits and the genuine smiles in between.
Because your senior photos should show more than what you look like. They should give you a little glimpse back into who you were.
I want my seniors to be able to look back at these images years from now and recognize themselves. The way they smiled. The things they loved. The way they dressed. The personality that made them them.
Maybe that’s a sport. Maybe it’s a hobby, a favorite car, a musical instrument, a pet, or simply a location that feels like home.
There isn’t one right way to do senior pictures.
Your session should be as unique as you are.
And whether you’re a senior in the Iowa City area, Southeast Iowa, or somewhere in between, that’s what I’m here to create—senior photos that feel genuine, personal, and completely you.
