The excitement, the nostalgia, the “wait… how are we already here?” feeling.
These cap & gown / college tee mini sessions are such a fun way to celebrate this huge milestone. Whether it’s tossing the cap, repping their future college, or just soaking in those final senior moments—these sessions are all about capturing who they are right now.
I photograph seniors across Southeast Iowa, including Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield, Washington, New London, Pekin, Winfield-Mt. Union, and WACO, and I love getting to document this season for so many amazing seniors in our area.
Short, Sweet, and So Meaningful
These minis are quick (about 15–20 minutes), but we pack so much into that time.
We keep things light, fun, natural, and relaxed—nothing overly posed or stiff.
It’s the perfect option if you:
- Want updated cap & gown photos
- Didn’t book a full senior session
- Want something simple but still beautiful
- Or just want to document this moment before everything changes

These sessions are also so much fun to do with a friend or a small group!
Whether you want a few photos together in your caps & gowns or just want to hype each other up during your individual shots, it always makes the experience even more memorable (and way less nerve-wracking too 🙌🏼).
You’ll still each get your own individual photos, but we can absolutely mix in a few fun group shots as well!

Each session includes:
- An online proof gallery
- Your choice of 5 fully retouched digital images
- The option to purchase additional images or prints
So you get your favorites included, with the option for more if you fall in love with extra ones (which happens a lot)
